Humanities

Our Humanities Tours provides students with the opportunity to discover the history of Sydney, enjoy the geographic wonders of the Kosciusko National Park in NSW and explore civics and citizenship of our national capital. Highlights of the Tour include examining the archaelogical remnants of colonial Sydney with a guided tour through ‘The Rocks’. The varied terrain of the Snowy mountains will certainly be an eye-opener to all students who are used to a flatter landscape of Western Australia. In Canberra, students are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational programs with a focus on Australia’s history, culture, heritage and democracy. Highlights is the visit to Parliament House, the High Court and the Australian War Memorial.

Language (Italy)

The Italian Tour allows our students the opportunity to be immersed in Italy’s world-renowned culture and history. The tour visits several cities including, but not limited to, Rome, Florence, Siena, Lucca, Cinque Terre, Verona and Venice. Whilst there, students will visit famous monuments such as The Trevi Fountain, The Colosseum, The Vatican, The Leaning Tower of Pisa, The Statue of David and Uffizi Gallery. Students will also have the privilege of experiencing what life is like in Italy through experiences such as a cooking class, visiting a chocolate factory in Perugia, attending an Italian mass in St Mark’s Basilica, having a tour of the Marist Brothers Headquarters in Rome and visiting a scientific high school in Treviso. The tour allows students to broaden their horizons to look at the world with a different perspective.
