Why Work at Newman College?
About Us
Our College is spread over three beautiful campuses, Marcellin (Secondary School), Lavalla (Years 3-6) and Marian (Kindy – Year 2), home to approximately 1800 students and 250 staff.
We are a PK-12 Catholic School, educating in the Marist Tradition, which endeavours to lead students to know and love Jesus Christ. With Mary as our model in faith, we encourage students to grow into the fullness of their humanity in an education environment where they feel welcome, accepted and valued.
Our staff are guided by the College’s Vision for Learning ‘Shine through Discovery’ – Let your light shine (Matthew 5:16) through the four pillars Challenge, Collaborate, Create and Celebrate. Our commitment is to contemporary and relevant pedagogy where learning programs are increasingly differentiated and individualised.
