The College’s canteen offers students a wide choice of reasonably priced fresh food at both recess and lunchtime and are managed with the principle of healthy eating in mind.

Newman College offers canteen ordering services through FlexiSchools across all campuses for recess and lunch. To support the safety of this service we would like to remind all families of the of the importance to identify any allergies and / or specific dietary requirements. The below process outlines how to achieve this through FlexiSchools:

  1. Select the date/day of the order
  2. Ensure you select the appropriate Allergy Alert for your child. This must be selected every time an order is placed:
  3. Select your items. Please note the Allergy Alert selection DOES NOT limit choices. You must ensure you select appropriate items for your students.
  4. Proceed through the payment process

The College takes no responsibility for the choices made by families and any eventuating medical issues that arise. The College canteen prepares meals containing ingredients that may be harmful to some children and cannot guarantee the complete absence of these ingredients in orders. FlexiSchools Online Canteen Ordering

The system allows parents and students to place orders from home, work or school anytime; making processing and preparing lunch orders faster, easier and more accurate than over-the-counter orders.

Please note: All Canteen orders must be placed via FlexiSchools. No cash will be accepted in bags.

PK-Y6 Campus Canteen

The Marcellin Campus Canteen services both the Lavalla and Marian campuses.

Recess and Lunch orders must be placed via the Flexischools online ordering system. Orders are delivered to the applicable campus before recess and again before lunch.

Orders for both the Marian and Lavalla Campuses must be ordered online through the FlexiSchools system by 8.30am.

Y7-Y12 Campus Canteen

The Canteen on the Marcellin Campus also services students in Years 7-12. Parents/Students have the option to either order online or use their cashless card (their current Student Smartrider card).

Parents will need their child’s individual student code when linking the Smartrider card to your account.

Orders must be made online through the Flexischools system by 8.00am
