Newman Parents – A Night with Paul Dillon
Paul Dillon is the Director and founder of Drug and Alcohol Research and Training Australia (DARTA) and he is passionate about ensuring that the community has access to accurate and up-to-date alcohol and other drug information.

NEWMAN PARENTS IS A FORUM FOR PARTNERSHIP, COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION BETWEEN THE SCHOOL AND HOME AT ADULT ONLY EVENTS. THIS FORUM RECOGNISES THAT PARENTS ARE NOT MERELY OBSERVERS OF THE EDUCATIVE PROCESS IN WHICH THEIR CHILDREN ARE ENGAGED BUT ARE ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS IN COLLABORATION WITH THE COLLEGE. THE CONTENT OF THE EVENINGS INCLUDES COMMUNICATION OF KEY COLLEGE INITIATIVES AND TOPICS THAT ARE RELEVANT TO THE LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS AT THE COLLEGE.
ICAS Science Competition
Students in Years 7-12 have the opportunity to take part in the ICAS Science Competition.
The competition is designed to assess students’ ability to apply classroom learning in new contexts, using higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills.
K-2 Paraliturgy – Fathers Day
The Year 1 Unit will host a special Paraliturgy to reflect on the importance of Fathers Day. Family and friends are welcome.
