IPSHA Touch Rugby Carnival

Selected students in Year 6 will represent Newman College at the IPSHA Touch Rugby Carnival.

The students will be travelling by bus, departing Newman at 9.00am and returning at 2.40pm. The competition will commence at approximately 10.00am.

The IPSHA Association is a group of schools that meet during the year to provide friendly competition between students in various sports. The focus of these Interschool co-educational events is on participation. No final nor individual game scores are kept. It is about giving children the opportunity to display skills learnt, promoting fun and enjoyment, encouraging everyone to participate and highlighting the importance of fair play.

As this is an Interschool fixture, all students must wear their full sports uniform (light blue striped polo shirt). Students also need to bring their own morning tea, lunch and a drink on the day.

2018 Dockers Cup Y4-6

Special Clothing/Instructions: Students must have a mouthguard to play. The students will be given an AFL shirt to play in. The AFL jumpers they will be given are loose fitting. Students need to wear their Newman sport shirt underneath (as they are boys AFL jumpers and the arm pits sometimes are low). Students must wear the school sports shorts. Students may wear football boots or running shoes. Students will need to bring their morning tea, lunch and water bottle with them.
