Years 3-6 Swimming Carnival

On Friday 28 February, our Years 3-6 students participated in the 2020 Swimming Carnival. Students displayed enthusiasm as they cheered and raced for their faction.

An incredible number of records were broken on the day;

  • Kaydee Van Deventer broke the Year 4 Female 50m Freestyle with a time of 35.43, Year 4 Female 50m Backstroke with a time of 44.50 and the Year 4 Female 50m Breaststroke with a time of 50.66
  • Maddy Bertolini broke the Year 5 Female 50 Freestyle with a time of 33.27
  • Oliver Groughan broke the Year 6 Male 50 Freestyle with a time of 29.66, Year 6 Male 50 Breaststroke with a time of 29.66 and the Year 6 Male 50 Butterfly with a time of 34.74

Well done to Delaney faction (captained by Hannah Seaborn) for being awarded the Spirit Award and Marcellin faction (captained by Ty Patterson) for winning the Champion Shield for 2020.
