Guild Swimming Carnival

The Guild Swimming Carnival was a fun day of competition, sportsmanship and Guild spirit for the Years 7-12’s. It was wonderful to see so many students dressed in their Guild colours and compete in a range of races and novelty events throughout the day.

We had some great individual results and had an amazing 5 records broken:

  • Sam Giumelli broke the Year 12 Male 50m freestyle record with a time of 25.5 seconds
  • Jake Paynter broke the Year 9 Male 50m Freestyle record with a time of 27.53 seconds
  • Emily Holland broke the Year 10 Female 50m backstroke record that was set in 1987 with a time of 33.71 seconds
  • Imogen Boss broke 2 records: The Year 8 Female 50m Freestyle record with a time of 28.78 seconds and the 50m Backstroke record with a time of 33.38 seconds.
