Kye Portelli Year 9, has been diagnosed with Retina Pigmentosa, a very rare eye condition that is genetically transmitted. The family are hosting a Disco to raise funds to allow Kye and his Mum (Jeana) to travel to the USA for further medical advice and to allow Kye to enjoy some sights of the world whilst he is still able. To recognise the hard work of our Years 3-6 students, a formal Awards Ceremony will take place on Tuesday 4 December in the Marist Auditorium.
We will acknowledge excellence in academics, sport, arts, behaviour, Christian character, competitions and more.
All Year 6 parents/guardians and parents/guardians of award recipients from Years 3-5 will be invited to attend the presentation.
Following the presentation, a morning tea for the Year 6 families will be held in the foyer of the Marist Auditorium.
During Week 9, students in Years 3-6 will enjoy their Pizza Pool Day.

Year 5 – Thursday 6 December and
Year 6 – Friday 7 December
School bathers are not required, however full sports uniform is to be worn to and from the pool. It is important that the students are sun smart and must wear a rash shirt and hat on the day.

The activities will commence at 11.00am and conclude at 3.15pm. All students will be dismissed from the pool.
Newman College is honoured to be the host of the 2018 Marist Cricket Carnival. The Carnival will run from Tuesday 4 December – Tuesday 11 December 2018. Five Marist Schools from Australia will compete and 65 competitors will take part.
The K-Y2 Christmas Paraliturgy, hosted by the Pre Primary students, is being held at St Cecilia’s Church on Friday 30 November at 9.00am. All family and friends are welcome!
