IPSHA Touch Rugby Carnival
On Thursday 8 November, 30 Year 6 students were selected to represent Newman College at the IPSHA Touch Rugby Carnival at John XXIII College. We had three teams of 10 students that participated in the carnival, all of which showed great sportsmanship and had heaps of fun! There was seven rounds throughout the day, where we competed against eight schools including Newman. All teams did really well and we congratulated each other on each of our achievements. On behalf of all the Year 6 students that participated in the carnival, we would like to thank Mrs Horn, Mrs Zelich and Mrs Short for preparing and coaching us. We would also like to thank Tranby College for hosting and John XXIII College for providing the venue on which the event was held.
