It has been so lovely to see the positive way that our students have re-engaged with their learning this year. Teachers across the campus have been undertaking assessments in the areas of literacy and numeracy, which will enable them to ensure that their teaching and learning programs are targeted and specific to each student’s needs.
Last week we gathered as a campus to celebrate Ash Wednesday. The Liturgy was prepared and led by our Year 2 students. This was a lovely start to Lent, and I thank our Year 2 Teachers and the students for their work in preparing for this celebration. Thank you to all families who donated a gold coin towards our Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Tuesday) fundraiser, which launched off our school’s Caritas Project Compassion appeal.
Thank you to Year 1 Green for the engaging assembly that they performed this morning. The joy and excitement on the students’ faces was evident and was a lovely first assembly for 2021.
Congratulations to all our “Celebrate” Merit Award winners for their excellent achievements.
