Project Compassion brings thousands of Australians together in solidarity with the world’s poor to help end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity.
This year, in support of Project Compassion, students and staff are invited to participate in the Caritas Fast.
Students completing the Caritas Fast will collect donations for Project Compassion. On Wednesday 13 March, those participating will meet their Guild Coordinators in the Founders Court before Period 1 to hand in their donations. At recess students will be given barley sugars, followed by a handful of cold, cooked rice at lunch and then a muffin at the end of the day. This small amount of food, will help those participating appreciate how little some people in our world have to eat. It is important that students participating remember to wear their Guild uniform on the day. We hope to see lots of students and staff participating in the Caritas Fast this year.
